A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas

Seriously I don’t really know what to feel about this book, I really love  A Court of Mist and Fury even the sex scenes disappointed me but it’s still my favorite after reading this book. I was really excited to read this given the fact that the previous book left a huge cliffhanger but after reading the first few chapters of this book the pacing felt like I was reading A Court of Thorns and Roses. I wanted Feyre to be cunning, I want the High Lady of the Night Court to be the death incarnate once she unleash her fury but she didn’t felt that way, I think she like to talk much but her words and action differs.

“My goal was bigger than revenge. My purpose greater than personal retribution.”

But still even though this book disappointed me with it’s pacing it didn’t erased the fact that I had goosebumps while reading it. I really love the beauty of friendship shown here. I was crying every time a character become selfless or an enemy became an ally .. I cried about Tamlin and somewhat forgave him too but I wish Maas wrote more of that, I really wanted the closure to be so much more than that. I cried when Amren did what she needed, I cried when Rhysand … by the Couldron my heart stopped at that one.

Rhysand .. my Rhys .. I’m just so in love with this High Lord that I cried when that happend, I don’t want to say it here.

“I would have waited five hundred more years for you. A thousand years. And if this was all the time we were allowed to have… the wait was worth it.”

Despite the things that disappointed me in this book, I still couldn’t hate it because it brought out too much emotions in me. I just wish the next book will be more exciting and different that this one. And I think it would be so much better that SJM would just end it with the 4th book … I really think it would be fitting that way, I don’t want the story to be stretched too long … I want to love this series, I don’t want to be fed up reading it.
