Mister Moneybags by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward

I have never been so interested in whittling before if it wasn’t for Dex Truitt! bahahaha

Gosh! this book was funny but like all signature Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward book, they tend to spin every funny start into a drama. When it got into the middle part, everything got complicated but it was still an addicting read and I think the smut is just right, not overly sexed up. Well, in my opinion that is … lol

Geekerella by Ashley Poston

I really love the acknowledgment! lol

“We’re all just a bunch of weirdos, standing in front of other weirdos, asking for their username.”

I think this book is just adorable, so light and fun. I read a book similar to this story before, Cinder and Ella. It was all predictable even the title is predictable .. Hellooooo!!! But I guess that’s the point of the author but compared to Cinder and Ella, I like this book more because it lived up to the Cinderella story, well the Geek version of it. It made me believe that being in a fandom matters, that we’re not alone and together we can make things happen. ehem .. like movies, sequels, and conventions.. duh! The universe is us! lol

Look to the stars. Aim. Ignite.

Last Stand (The Black Mage #4) by Rachel E. Carter

I really don’t know how to write a convincing review for everyone to give this series a chance. To be honest when you see the book covers it looks like the same as other fantasy books and it didn’t even stand, I did’t even noticed this years ago when it was published  but I’m glad it took me a while to read them because I would be a mess of feelings dealing with each book’s endings while waiting for the next book to come out.

I never thought it would all come to this, the story and the characters evolved so much I could not even describe everything properly because I’m just a bundle of feelings and this series gripped me so much. It was all about pain, grief and revenge gone are the innocent first years from the first book, what they are are shades of gray. I don’t even think that the author will give me my happy ending because page by page I was breaking for the characters.

“Gods, every one of us was tainted. All of us shades of gray. This world of innocence was a lie.”

It only has 453 pages but I swear to you every page was worth the read, there was nothing dragging about this series. I’m a sucker for Fantasy Romance books but I believe it’s more than that, the writing was beautiful and the way Rachel E. Carter described every feeling especially that epilogue.

I swear the tears just kept on flowing and I wish I could just hug someone right now and just talk about how this book should get more readers because truly it deserves more and I’ll be adding this series to my favorites.
